The
typical Daily performance of the solar panel in peak conditions:
1050watt-hours per day / 68.04amp-hours per day.
These kits are specially designed for owners of caravans,
boats and motorhomes, who are used to using 12v systems.
Caravans, Boats and Motorhomes generally have a one or
more car-type batteries that are separate from the battery
used to start the boat/motorhome/car engine. Power is
drawn from these batteries for lighting etc, and they
are recharged when the vehicle or vessel engine is running.
However, if your moor your boat, or park your caravan/motorhome
on hoilday for an extended period, without having a mains
supply to draw on, keeping your batteries charged can
be a challenge. One possibility is to run the engine or
a small generator, but these are noisy, cause unpleasant
fumes, and are not so good for the planet. Our special
solar kits are a good solution to the problem, providing
sufficient recharging power, in a reliable (10 year guarantee,
no maintenance), SILENT and carbon-footprint minimizing
way! Unlike wind-generators, which only work when the
wind blows, our cells work throughout the day, even in
cloudy conditions, and with no moving parts, they do really
do last a long, long time.

Mounting Options
The UNIVERSAL MOUNT, shown above, comprises 4 aluminium
brackets - these are screwed/glued onto the roof, and
the panel is then glued onto these brackets (glue provided).
The MOULDED MOUNT, shown on the left can be ordered separately
on our accessories page - these provide a neater form
of attachment, and optimize air gap underneath the panel.
Some people prefer not to bond the panel to their caravan/motorhome/boat,
but to use a GROUND MOUNT, also available on our accessories
page ,
which enables you to store the panel indoors for security
at night or when you are not there. The ground mount also
enables you angle the panel directly at the sun, increasing
efficiency.
Cheapest Options
The
cheapest option is to buy our
150W Panel Kit, which has just the panel, cable and
(optional) charge controller (also known as a voltage
regulator). You can just just take the panel outside and
prop it up against a stool/tree etc as needed, without
the need to mount it.

Solar
Energy is a tried and tested power source that is

transforming the energy from the sun into a reusable form

Solar Panels There are several different methods
of harnessing the sun’s energy with Solar panels. Our
panels are based on the finest crystalline silicon technology,
which is more efficient than amorphous or other thin film

a multi-layer back sheet to protect against moisture ingress

low iron tempered glass and mounted into a corrosion-resistant,
heavy-duty anodised aluminium frame for stability.
